Whitefish Woody Weekend IX

The Big Sky Chapter of the Antique and Classic Boat Society will be presenting Whitefish Woody Weekend IX on the weekend of June 26-28, 2020. Whitefish Woody Weekend is one of the premier classic boat events, attracting award winning classic wood boats from all across the Pacific Northwest, and one of the signature summer events in Whitefish. The event, hosted by the Lodge at Whitefish Lake, will feature over 36 classic wood boats from all over the Pacific Northwest and Canada. Marking the unofficial beginning of summer, Whitefish Woody Weekend IX will begin on Friday evening June 26th with a cruise/parade around beautiful Whitefish Lake. Thirty-six classic boats will be on public display at the Lodge at Whitefish Lake from 9AM until 6PM on Saturday, June 27th. Sunday morning, June 28th will feature a poker run with the wood boats out on the lake followed by a BBQ on the beach at the Lodge for event participants. The show is fun for all ages. The public is encouraged to join the fun on the lake or on the beaches, decks and docks around the lake for the Friday evening cruise; or to enjoy the boats up close and met the owners of these fine representatives of the art and craftsmanship of the past on Saturday at the Lodge at Whitefish Lake Marina. There will also be hourly drawings for a free classic boat ride throughout the day on Saturday. All events are free and open to the public.
