On the first weekend of August the Big Sky Chapter will hold their 14th Annual Big Sky Antique and Classic Boat Show at The Marina Cay Resort in beautiful Bigfork Montana on Flathead Lake.  Located just 40 miles from Glacier National Park, Flathead Lake is the largest natural fresh water lake west of the Mississippi.

The event kicks off July 31 with the Friday night Welcome Aboard Social hosted by the The Classic Company Boatworks in Somers with live music, cocktails and heavy hors d'oeuvres.  Saturday morning, August 1, the show opens to the public at The Marina Cay Resort Docks. Enjoy a cold refreshment at the Tiki Bar overlooking the docks while visiting with old friends and making new ones. Saturday evening festivities include a cocktail party followed by the show awards banquet for participants and guests. The show continues Sunday morning with boats on display until 12PM when the boats will fire up their engines and gather up in Bigfork Bay for a trip across the lake and a parade up the West Shore. The parade will end up at the Harbor Grille in Lakeside for lunch and refreshments on the lake where the boats will be available for public viewing.

Just a leisurely stroll from Marina Cay, the 42nd Annual Festival of the Arts runs concurrently with the boat show.  A favorite among artists and visitors alike, the well attended Festival fills the main streets of the town with a fine selection of art, crafts, food, music and other entertainment on both Saturday and Sunday. Just 2 miles from the show venue, is the 27 Hole Championship Golf Course at Beautiful Eagle Bend.
